Mindfulness in therapy

Mindfulness is an integral part of my therapeutic practice. Mindfulness can be defined as being aware, in the present moment, without judgment. When we are mindful, we take the opportunity to slow down and notice what is happening around us and within us.

It is when we bring awareness to what is happening that we can begin to make changes within. We can learn to respond as opposed to react, living a life of conscious choice rather than one of unconscious habit and reaction.

I work with individual adults. Please seek out other practitioners if you are a couple, a family, or are looking for therapy for a child.

I believe everybody has within them the resources they need to heal and to grow and I have faith in people’s abilities to overcome past adversities.

In my practice, I provide mindful support and guidance, helping to lead clients away from feeling stuck and toward awareness, healing, and change.

"... transformation brings forth healing — the coming to integrity, to wholeness — of what is already there."
